Gong Min-jeong and Im Sung-jae deliver deeply immersive performances as a realistically portrayed married couple in the 2025 KBS 2TV single-episode project "Love: Track."
Tonight, on the 17th (Wednesday) at 9:50 p.m., the fourth story of "Love: Track," "On the Night the Wolf Disappeared" (directed by Jung Kwang-soo, written by Lee Seon-hwa), is about a zookeeper couple on the brink of divorce who struggle to find an escaped wolf and confront the beginning and end of their love.
Gong Min-jeong plays the competent animal communicator and soon-to-be-divorced Yoo Dal-rae, and Im Sung-jae plays wolf keeper and troublemaker Dal-rae's husband, Seo Dae-gang.
In stills released ahead of today's (17th) broadcast, Gong Min-jeong is shown smiling brightly in contrast with images of her glaring at Im Sung-jae in the dark of night, raising curiosity about what story lies behind the two. Also, Im Sung-jae searching for the wolf at night relying on a flashlight heightens the drama's tension.
The zookeeper couple Dal-rae and Dae-gang constantly blame and resent each other, revealing sharp emotions even as they search for the wolf Sun-jeong they raised together. Yet fleeting memories of love that pass between them show that their relationship is one of love and hate. Gong Min-jeong and Im Sung-jae are expected to increase immersion by convincingly portraying the realistic emotional arc of a married couple with solid acting.
Another focal point is the wolf Sun-jeong. The wolf, realized using AI technology, completes more realistic and vivid scenes and doubles the drama's immersive quality. Once the ones who loved each other most but now the ones who hate each other most, the divorcing couple join forces to find the missing wolf, and attention is focused on whether they can also reclaim their love.
