Actor Yoon Bak shared his feelings on the finale of No Next Life.
In TV CHOSUN's Monday-Tuesday miniseries No Next Life, Yoon Bak played No Won-bin, a home shopping PD and the husband of Jo Na-jung (Kim Hee-seon), filling the drama with an annoyingly endearing tsundere charm and realistic moments. Outwardly he seemed cold, but as a character overflowing with a sense of justice more than anyone else, he stood at the center of the events, driving the drama's tension and immersion.
On the 17th, Yoon Bak said through his agency Blitzway Entertainment, "It feels like the first broadcast was just yesterday, so I still can't believe it's already the finale. Thanks to the viewers who watched and loved No Next Life, I was able to finish the work with a grateful heart."
He added, "I sincerely thank the director and writers who worked hard to complete our warm and pleasant drama, all the staff members, and the actors."
Yoon Bak convincingly portrayed No Won-bin's complicated inner life and realistic struggles with restrained emotional acting. He delicately unfolded the conscience that could not ignore workplace corruption, the responsibility to protect his family, and the moments when suppressed emotions burst forth, eliciting viewers' empathy and immersion.
At the same time, in the romantic storyline with Na-jung, he captured fresh excitement while adding charm to the character as a younger husband who grumbles yet shows warmth. Especially, unlike early scenes where he disappointed Na-jung with an apron gift, in the finale he left a deep impression by presenting a ring and conveying his true feelings, revealing his unwavering love for Na-jung.
No Next Life ran for 12 episodes, and its final episode aired yesterday (the 16th).
