The group ENHYPEN achieved remarkable results on the Oricon annual chart in Japan.
On the 17th, Oricon released "Annual Ranking 2025" (tracking period Dec. 23, 2024–Dec. 15, 2025), and ENHYPEN (Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Niki)'s 4th single "宵 -YOI-" (Yoi) ranked No. 8 on the "single ranking." This is the highest position among overseas artists' works and the group's best record on that chart.
"宵 -YOI-" surpassed cumulative shipments of 750,000 and became ENHYPEN's first work to receive "triple platinum" certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. This single not only sped past 500,000 shipments with just three days of tracking after its July 29 release, but it also became ENHYPEN's first Japanese release to achieve "half million seller" in its first week. The result directly reflects ENHYPEN's increased local stature and influence.
Also, ENHYPEN placed No. 11 on the "album ranking" with mini album 6 "DESIRE : UNLEASH." That album swept No. 1 on both Oricon's "weekly album ranking" and "weekly combined album ranking" (June 16 issue/ tracking period June 2–8), surpassing the group's own highest sales and points in both charts.
With ENHYPEN achieving strong results on various annual charts, the green light has been lit for their comeback. The mini album 7 "THE SIN : VANISH," set for release on Jan. 16 next year, is the opening work of a new album series themed on "sin." It is expected to tackle an absolute taboo condemned in the "vampire society," and because it previews the story of vampire lovers who choose to flee to protect their love, attention is focused on the newly presented narrative by immersive storytellers ENHYPEN. /seon@osen.co.ke
