Group EXO member and solo singer Chen (CHEN) has expanded the scope of his first solo concert tour.
His agency INB100 announced today (16) on its official social media channels that it has posted additional posters for Chen's first concert tour CHEN CONCERT TOUR "Arcadia" and revealed the expansion of the tour's scale.
According to the announcement, Chen will begin in Taipei on Jan. 3 (local time), then visit Yokohama on Jan. 25, Jakarta on Jan. 31, Manila on Feb. 28, Macau on Mar. 8 and Kuala Lumpur on Mar. 29, touring six Asian markets. In particular, buoyed by support from global fans, four cities — Jakarta, Manila, Macau and Kuala Lumpur — were added as host cities, expanding the tour's range and expected to continue the global momentum.
With this, following the successful completion of his first solo concert in Seoul, Chen will launch his solo tour by performing in six Asian cities. The solo concert held at the KEPCO Art Center in Seoul last Oct. expanded the world of his mini album 5 of the same name, "Arcadia," onto the stage. With rich band sound and overwhelming vocal power that drew enthusiastic responses, this tour will be presented as an opportunity to vividly deliver the high-quality stage from the Seoul performances to local fans across Asia.
Chen proved his global popularity by topping iTunes top album and top song charts in many overseas regions with his mini album 5 "Arcadia," released last Sep. Also, riding the acclaim of his first solo concert, global fans' expectations are rising for Chen's full-scale Asia tour beginning in Jan.
