Ko Jun said he worked as a director under his real name.
On the 15th broadcast, Channel A 'Close friends Tokumentary - Table for four' (hereafter Table for four) featured Ko Jun, who invited close friends actor Jo Jae-yoon and comedian Lee Sang-jun.
Ko Jun said, "I made 60 independent short films. I went to the Cannes Film Festival three times. At the time, people absolutely looked down on actors directing or producing. They told me to just focus on acting. I couldn't even get cast. When I went to Cannes, I begged them not to run an article about it."
He continued, "My real name is Kim Jun-ho. The director's name is Kim Jun-ho. People cannot help but not know. They think it's someone else. It's the first time I'm talking about it," he confessed. Ko Jun added, "At first it didn't start with talent; it started with me filming video profiles for unknown friends. As I kept filming, I learned the ropes."
Ko Jun said he spent nearly 20 years as an unknown. Ko Jun said, "There is sorrow. I have YouTube content that I produce. I'm growing it as a channel that gives opportunities to rookie actors and directors. I hope many dreamers in the world become known. I'm working hard. It's not easy. I'm running it using my own money."
Ko Jun added, "I am helping my past self. When I see friends like me, I just want to help them."
However, after doing only good things like this, Ko Jun later suffered panic disorder and social phobia after being betrayed by people he trusted. Ko Jun said he started painting to overcome it.
