'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' has offered warm consolation and empathy to viewers by candidly showing the daily lives of middle-aged women stars who live alone and share a house. Starting as a Chuseok special pilot program in 2017 and remaining popular to this day, the show owed its success to the friendships among many cast members, including big sister Park Won-sook, Hye Eun-i, Kim Young-ran, Moon Sook, Park Joon-geum, Kim Hye-jung, Lee Kyung-jin, Kim Cheong, Ahn So-young, Ahn Moon-sook, Hong Jin-hee, Yoon Da-hoon and Hwang Seok-jung. Although news of the final episode of 'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' leaves many feeling regretful, a completely revamped new 'Let's Live Together' with a new cast and themes will arrive in Jan. 2026. In particular, original high-teen star Hwang Shin-hye has confirmed she will appear, and the program is expected to offer the warm healing longtime viewers enjoyed along with a younger cast and more energetic fun.
Also, Hwang Shin-hye, a single mom who has raised her daughter alone for a long time, will share her human side as a mother and her daily life. In addition to Hwang Shin-hye, single moms from different backgrounds and age groups will appear to share honest life stories and wisdom.
If the previous program showed women confidently preparing for the later stages of life, the newly launched 'Let's Live Together – Shinhye Town' (working title) will focus on the lives of single moms, a timely topic, and aim to form another bond of empathy. The revamped program will closely follow single moms with their own stories and pains as they take part in a special communal living arrangement under one roof, rely on one another, share concerns about raising children and rediscover the meaning of true family. Through this, it will deliver messages of consolation and encouragement to all single moms struggling with childrearing, work and societal scrutiny.
