Actor Kim Jaeyoung said he referred to DAY6, CNBLUE and FTISLAND among others for his idol role.

In 'Idol Eye', Kim Jaeyoung plays Doraik, the visual center and main vocalist of the popular idol band Gold Boys. Asked whether there was a group he took as a motif for the role, he confessed, "I referenced DAY6 a bit. And because they debuted about 10 years ago, I think I went for a bit of the CNBLUE and FTISLAND feel."
Asked what 'role' he would likely have if Kim Jaeyoung were a real idol, he said, "I've only done center before, so I think I'd have to be the center," adding, "Since I'm doing it anyway, I want to be the visual center."
When asked by Girls' Generation's Sooyoung about the role that comes to mind for Kim Jaeyoung, she said, "Kim Jaeyoung seems to fit that kind of character. He's not the type to overtly act cute, but occasional behaviors make fans obsess over him; he seems chic but has a dog-like charm inside. He acts very manly, but there is a puppy-like side that bursts out. And when such a person is the leader, he is even more charming. He has leadership but is actually clumsy, a character with reverse charms."
Hearing this, Kim Jaeyoung said, "I like that a lot. I want to try being a leader," drawing laughter.
