Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart (35) shared rare thoughts about her married life with her wife, Dylan Meyer.
According to recent reports by the Daily Mail and Esquire, Kristen Stewart (35) said in a recent interview that the greatest lesson her marriage to Dylan Meyer, who married her on April 20 at the Los Angeles restaurant Casita del Campo, taught her was "the power in numbers".
Stewart said, "Having a family is a really good thing. You no longer feel like an individual who doesn't belong anywhere," and added, "Being with someone makes life feel more solid."
She continued, "I felt it the moment Dylan came into my life. How important it is to choose for yourself what kind of people you surround yourself with," and added, "Dylan is someone who does not compromise with foolishness." She also laughed, saying, "I may not seem like it on the outside, but I'm actually a pretty 'good person.'"
Stewart cited a small happiness in married life as the time spent reading books aloud with her wife and their pets. "We read books together like 'East of Eden', 'Wuthering Heights', 'Jane Eyre', and 'The Song of the Lonesome Hunter,'" she said, adding, "Sharing stories you once kept to yourself is comforting."
However, she said that time alone is still important. "I take an hour or two to myself in the morning before Dylan wakes up," she explained, "Because I'm always surrounded by people, I consciously need time to be alone."
According to foreign media, the two first met on the set of the 2013 film American Ultra and tied the knot after about six years of dating. In 2023, they continued their parallel careers by co-founding the production company Nevermind Pictures with Maggie McLean.
Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart recently received praise for her directorial debut, Chronology of Water, which is scheduled to open in the United States on Jan. 9. She is also set to play real-life astronaut Sally Ride in Amazon MGM's limited series The Challenger, saying, "Excitement and fear coexist."
Foreign media say of Kristen Stewart, an actor, director and now a member of a family, "She is steadily writing a new chapter in both life and career."
