Group SF9 member Jaeyoon has been cast in the 2026 musical concert "The Mission:K".
"The Mission:K" is a work that unfolds the real-life stories of four historical figures — Ebbeson, Severance, Allen and Underwood — in a talk-show format. It has drawn attention for blending the narrative of real people beyond a typical musical with the sensibility of a K-pop concert and a talk-show format.
In the play, Jaeyoon will play the role of Underwood. Underwood, the founder of Yeonhui Professional School, is a calm and deliberate character. With solid vocal ability, dance skills and delicate acting, Jaeyoon is expected to complete his own interpretation of Underwood and heighten the play's immersion.
So far, Jaeyoon has appeared in various productions such as the musicals "Startup", "Again! Oh Hae-young", "Seopyeonje" and "The Picture of Dorian Gray", solidifying his position as a musical actor. Through this work, attention is focusing even more on Jaeyoon, who will once again prove his stable vocals and distinctive live performance skills.
The Mission:K, in which Jaeyoon performs, will run for three days from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 next year at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts' main theater in Seoul.
