Actor Choi Sooyoung expressed congratulations on the marriage news of Girls' Generation member Tiffany.
On the 16th in the afternoon at The Saint in D-Cube City, Sindorim, Guro District, Seoul, a press conference was held for Genie TV original drama "Idol I." Director Lee Kwang-young attended the press conference along with actors Choi Sooyoung and Kim Jae-young to talk.
"Idol I" is a mystery courtroom romance that unfolds when fan-obsessed star lawyer Maeng Se-na (played by Choi Sooyoung) takes on the case of her favorite idol Dora-ik (played by Kim Jae-young), who has been accused of murder. To reveal the truth, the "favorite" not-guilty proving romance, in which sincere feelings must be hidden, is expected to deliver thrills amid cheerful laughter.
Before the press conference, reports emerged that recently Girls' Generation member Tiffany is set to marry actor Byun Yo-han next year. The two are currently dating with marriage in mind. She will become the first among Girls' Generation members to become a married woman.
In response, Sooyoung said, "I'm so happy. Actually, it's a very happy matter and something I support. In any case, my closest friends in my life are only the members, so whatever choice she makes, I congratulate her."
Sooyoung added cautiously, "The truth is, since I'm not the person involved, this is something I have to speak about carefully."
Meanwhile, the Genie TV original drama "Idol I" will air Monday the 22nd at 10 p.m.
