Kim Ah-young and Moon Dong-hyuk present a sweet but deadly thriller romance in the 2025 KBS 2TV one-act project 'Love: Track'.
On the 17th, the third story of 'Love: Track,' "Love Hotel" (directed by Bae Eun-hye, written by Park Min-jung), tells the story of a long-term dating couple who, deceived by familiarity into losing what is precious, get stranded by heavy rain and accidentally enter a motel where they encounter a killer.
Kim Ah-young plays Yoon Ha-ri, a woman who has been in a long-term relationship for seven years, and Moon Dong-hyuk plays Kang Dong-gu, a submissive boyfriend who adjusts everything to Ha-ri.
In stills released on the 16th, a day before the broadcast, the dark, enclosed corridor of a love hotel is the backdrop as Kim Ah-young and Moon Dong-hyuk, as if sensing the presence of a killer, hold their breath in terror. Their tightly frozen expressions and trembling gazes, leaning on each other, convey the extreme situation of two people facing a threat that could come at any moment. Ha-ri, who usually dominated her boyfriend with a feisty and spirited personality, cannot hide her fear at this moment and is gripped by tension, suggesting a crisis situation completely different from an ordinary romantic relationship.
Yoon Ha-ri and Kang Dong-gu are a long-standing couple who, as always, bicker and fail to reconcile even on a date they had been looking forward to. After an offhand remark escalates emotions, they head to a love hotel to escape the heavy rain and unexpectedly encounter a killer. This forces Ha-ri and Dong-gu onto a survival path where there is no turning back.
Facing an unavoidable situation, Ha-ri suppresses her fear and fights to survive, and in the process learns the true feelings of Dong-gu, who always seemed indifferent. Dong-gu, though overwhelmed by extreme fear, summons courage to protect his girlfriend and confronts the killer. The two, who had been mired in ennui, join forces in the moment of crisis to defeat the killer, raising curiosity about whether they will escape the love hotel safely when the episode airs.
