Mnet's 'Show Me the Money,' which has carried the popularity of hip-hop in Korea, has confirmed a comeback for its 12th season and announced the official start of the changed new season.
Mnet officially announced on the 16th that the first broadcast of 'Show Me the Money 12' will be on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at 9:20 p.m.
This season has attracted attention for its dazzling producer lineup that drew reactions calling it "legendary" as soon as it was revealed. Eight top artists representing the hip-hop scene have joined to form a solid combination unique to 'Show Me the Money 12.'
The lineup includes ZICO·Crush, GRAY·Loco, Jay Tong·Hucky Shibasaki, and Lil Moshpit·park jaebeom. These artists, who possess both individuality and mass appeal, have been called the "gamdasael combination" among fans since the lineup was revealed, raising expectations for the season.
In particular, this "Show Me the Money 12" signals a completely changed new era as it will be co-produced for the first time in the series with the domestic representative OTT platform TVING. As it is the first time the series has partnered with an OTT, new changes are expected across production methods and viewing structures. Mnet and TVING plan to structure the broadcast using a two-track approach linking a linear channel and an OTT to provide various viewing experiences tailored to each platform's characteristics.
Direction will be led by Mnet chief producer Choi Hyo-jin, who has led 'Show Me the Money' for many years. Choi said, "In addition to the existing format broadcast on Mnet, TVING's differentiated narrative continues, unfolding a two-track universe that moves between the channel and the OTT," and noted, "Through the unique worldbuilding of this season that spans the two channels, a more intense survival competition will take place. With legendary producers and a diverse set of contestants, we will present a more powerful and richer story than any season before, so please look forward to it and show your interest."
