Actor Park Ki-woong sparks a romance alert on weekend home screens with his unabashed, straight-ahead charm toward first love in "I Prescribe Love."
The new KBS 2TV weekend drama "I Prescribe Love," directed by Han Jun-seo and written by Park Ji-sook, set to premiere at 8 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2026, is a family makeup drama in which two families who were entangled in bad blood for 30 years resolve their misunderstandings, heal each other's wounds and are reborn as one family.
Park Ki-woong plays Yang Hyun-bin, general director of the fashion business division of Tae-han Group, a character who combines fashion trend sense and business acumen. As a character who cherishes as his first love the bold and spirited girl Gong Joo-a (played by Jin Se-yeon) who protected him in childhood, he is convinced of fate when he meets her again at the same company and begins earnestly closing the distance.
Meanwhile, today (the 16th), Park Ki-woong's first stills were released. He shows outstanding fashion sense that perfectly fits the character of the general director of the fashion business division. Added to this are Park Ki-woong's characteristic composure and humor, and even a pure aura, which make women's hearts flutter. It becomes intriguing to see how Yang Hyun-bin, honest about his romantic feelings, will overcome the tangled misunderstandings and antagonism between the two families and protect his love.
Also, Park Ki-woong is expected to emanate an irreplaceable presence by delicately portraying the complex emotions of Yang Hyun-bin, who, despite his energetic appearance, holds his family in his heart. In addition, his romantic chemistry with Jin Se-yeon, which evokes a "modern-day Romeo and Juliet," is expected to stimulate viewers' romantic senses.
Having consistently built his own characters with a wide acting spectrum across genres, Park Ki-woong in "I Prescribe Love" makes the main broadcast all the more anticipated to see how he will depict the devotion and romance of an unrequited lover and the elite side befitting a talented returnee from overseas.
Meanwhile, "I Prescribe Love" brings together the reliable actors Park Ki-woong and Jin Se-yeon with director Han Jun-seo, known for his stylish direction, and writer Park Ji-sook, who boasts solid writing skills.
