Actress Lee Min-jung thanked fans for her YouTube channel surpassing 500,000 subscribers and candidly addressed her pledge to "unblur Lee Byung-hun."
On the 15th, Lee Min-jung wrote on her YouTube community, "When we started YouTube, the producer said at the first shoot, 'If you reach 500,000 within the year, that would be really great,' and thankfully, eight months after starting, we have reached 500,000 subscribers," expressing her emotional gratitude.
She said, "There must have been many shortcomings, but I am really, really grateful that you watched with interest," repeatedly expressing thanks to her fans.
She also directly addressed the much-discussed "500,000 pledge," namely unblurring her husband Lee Byung-hun. Lee Min-jung said, "More important than the pledge is the actor's portrait rights," and added, "I want to respect BH's (Lee Byung-hun) opinion. If he feels comfortable and a moment comes when he wants to unblur himself, wouldn't it be better to do it naturally then?" expressing a cautious stance.
She continued, "Have a good Christmas in this cold winter, and I hope you have a relaxing time in the new year," and added, "Going forward, the 'Lee Min-jung MJ' channel will continue to bring healing, fun and useful content."
Lee Min-jung launched her YouTube channel "Lee Min-jung MJ" in March and has gained great popularity by sharing her daily life and tastes as an actress and small moments with her family. Her unpretentious storytelling and realistic humor in videos, and the concept of blurring her husband Lee Byung-hun's appearances have elicited viewers' laughter and become the channel's signature.
Earlier, Lee Min-jung drew attention by pledging, "I will blur my husband's face until we exceed 500,000 subscribers." As a result, when she actually reached 500,000 subscribers, fans flooded the comments with "Will the blur be removed now?" and "Finally revealing BH in person?"
However, Lee Min-jung firmly stated she would respect her husband's portrait rights as an actor, and turned the promise to fans into a humorous "selective unblur" to make them laugh.
Meanwhile, Lee Min-jung married actor Lee Byung-hun in 2013 and they have one son and one daughter. She continues active broadcasting activities and has won much public affection as a "realistic top-star couple."
