Actors Ko Hyun-jung, Han Ji-min, Yoon Kye-sang, Lee Je-hoon, and Park Hyung-sik were selected as grand prize nominees for the 2025 SBS Drama Awards.
On the afternoon of the 15th, SBS posted the second teaser video for the 2025 SBS Drama Awards on the drama's official YouTube channel. The released video featured the five actors who became the "acting gods" nominated for the grand prize at this awards show, drawing attention.
The first nominee is Ko Hyun-jung. Ko Hyun-jung delivered a chilling performance as a psychopathic killer in this year's SBS drama The Mantis: Original Sin. Next, the second nominee was actor Han Ji-min. Han Ji-min earned praise for romantic comedy chemistry with actor Lee Joon-hyuk in Love Scout, attracting attention with a charm completely opposite to Ko Hyun-jung.
The third nominee is actor Yoon Kye-sang. He was praised for his role as Joo Ga-ram, who risked his life for rugby, in The Winning Try. Since many of the co-stars were newcomers, he provided the anchor that delivered the emotional impact of the youth sports drama.
The fourth nominee is Lee Je-hoon, the "goddogi" of the flagship SBS series Taxi Driver 3, currently on the air. With Taxi Driver 3 sailing smoothly and Lee Je-hoon having carried the series for three seasons, expectations for an award were raised.
The final nominee is Park Hyung-sik. He starred as the lead in Buried Hearts, which so far recorded the year's highest rating among SBS dramas at 15.4% (Nielsen Korea nationwide households). Portraying an ambitious character who completed a revenge plot, he is a leading figure who sparks curiosity about whether he will clinch the grand prize.
The 2025 SBS Drama Awards will air at 9 p.m. on the 31st. Broadcaster Shin Dong-yup and actors Chae Won-bin and Heo Nam-jun will host as the three MCs. <
