In response to singer Jay Park Y's disclosure of dating violence victimization, the agency is jointly pursuing legal measures.
On the evening of the 15th, Jay Park Y's agency AOMG said in a press release, "Jay Park Y shared with the company that she was a victim of dating violence that occurred during a romantic relationship, and the matter will be handled according to legal procedures. Prioritizing the artist's physical and mental safety and recovery, we are providing all necessary support, including legal counsel," the agency said in an official statement.
AOMG also asked, "The matter is currently under review through judicial procedures, and we refrain from commenting further on specific details that could affect investigations and legal determinations. We ask that people deeply recognize that spreading unfounded speculation or unverified information, or actions that could lead to secondary harm, can inflict additional wounds on the artist," and emphasized, "We will work to ensure the artist can operate in a safe environment."
Earlier, Jay Park Y alleged on her personal social media that her ex-lover, music producer Bang Dallo, subjected her to dating violence including confinement, verbal abuse, physical assault and threats with a weapon. She particularly shocked people by posting photos showing bruises all over her body and face. In response, Bang Dallo claimed he was also struck by Jay Park Y and that the bruised photos resulted from being pushed while trying to stop her rampage.
