The group EXO (EXO, SME) is kicking off 2026 with a new album.
EXO's eighth full-length album REVERXE (Reverse), which will be released as an album and single on Jan. 19, contains nine tracks in total, and at 12 a.m. today (the 15th) a new logo image was revealed through EXO's official account on social media. This new release will be available for pre-order at various online and offline record stores starting at noon that day.
In particular, this album comes about two years and six months after the release of the group's seventh full-length album EXIST (Exist), which was released in July 2023 and became EXO's seventh million-seller, and has drawn explosive interest from music fans around the world.
Ahead of the comeback, EXO held a fan meeting called EXO'verse at Inspire Arena on the 14th, and delivered a variety of stages including the first revealed new song I'm Home (I'm Home) as well as Growl, Butterfly Girl, Peter Pan, First Snow, Unfair, History (History), Love Shot (Love Shot), CALL ME BABY (Call Me Baby), and also enjoyed time with fans through segments such as random challenges and a superpower redistribution game.
As they wrapped up the fan meeting, the members said, "We have been dreaming about this day since the start of the year, and now that it has finally come true we are happy. We are only grateful that EXO-Ls believed in us and waited. From now on we will constantly come to you with even more impressive performances. We will work hard to fill 2026 with EXO," raising expectations as they continued to drop activity spoilers.
Also, fans dressed in red and green dress codes to signify spending the year-end holiday season together with the members, and a slogan event that drew attention featured mass singing of First Snow and Into Your World, as well as slogans reading "We are by EXO's side always and everywhere" and "EXO-L's love will continue to places where the word end cannot reach."
