Behind-the-scenes looks from the film "Source" were captured.
On the 15th, the film "Source" (director Kim Seok, provided by NS ENM, produced by Popcorn Film, distributed by Movie City SMC) released behind-the-scenes still cuts.
"Source" is a crime action comedy that follows former ace detective Oh Nam-hyeok (Heo Sung-tae), who after being demoted has lost his passion, will and investigative instincts, and informant Jo Tae-bong (Jo Bok-rae), who had been pocketing blind money by supplying information on major cases, as they accidentally get involved in a big scheme.
The newly released stills vividly capture the intense behind-the-scenes moments of the set that led to the film's uproarious comedy scenes, drawing attention. On screen, the actors freely broke down and delivered laughs, but when the director called "cut" and they returned to the monitor, their gazes were more serious than ever. First, the actors caught attention as they constantly communicated with the director and adjusted details. Their serious discussions about scenes, regardless of location, suggest how much thought went into achieving each laugh.
In particular, the behind-the-scenes of tense action sequences can be glimpsed. The passionate dedication is evident in Heo Sung-tae and Jo Bok-rae monitoring the filmed scenes with solemn expressions and Seo Min-joo and Cha Soon-bae rehearsing the tense moves. Also captured was the set's atmosphere, where smiles were not lost despite grueling shooting. Playful poses of Heo Sung-tae and Jin Sun-kyu flashing peace signs at the camera and the cast sitting together, blooming with laughter and exuding fighting spirit, show that their strong chemistry translated into the film's perfect rhythm.
"Source" is now playing nationwide in theaters.
