Singer Chuu (CHUU) created a special memory with fans through a warm performance like a winter night when the first snow falls.
Chuu successfully wrapped up "CHUU 2ND TINY-CON - first snow falls, meet me there," held Dec. 13 and 14 at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall in Yongsan District, Seoul.
This performance was the second tiny-con presented about two years after "My Palace," and it was a small theater show planned around dense interaction with the official fan club "Kkotti," further expanding the tiny (TINY) concept meaning "small and precious space."
Even before the show began, the stage was filled with a cozy winter feeling as if waiting for Christmas. As a radio announcement about the first snow played, the audience waited for the show in an atmosphere as if invited to Chuu's cozy house in midwinter. When the radio faded and the house lights went dark, fans' cheers cut through the darkness, and Chuu opened the show with the mini album 2 ''Daydreamer'' as the opening song.
After the first stage, Chuu warmly greeted the audience, explaining the concept by saying, "This is my home," and "If the first tiny-con 'My Palace' was my own palace, this time I invited you to spend an early Christmas together in a cozy home."
On the following stage, Chuu performed songs she has released, including a newly arranged "Underwater" reminiscent of a Disney soundtrack, as well as "Lucid Dream" and "My Palace," delivering them with deep emotion. Chuu's clear, soft voice warmly colored the venue and left a deep impression on the audience.
She also performed NCT Doyoung's "Song of new spring" and Kwon Jin-ah's "Comfort" in her own lyrical style, completing a stage that felt like watching a musical. In addition, ILLIT's "Magnetic" and TWICE's "What is Love" unleashed new charms with flashy performances, instantly elevating the concert atmosphere.
Through a special corner where she transformed into a radio DJ, Chuu introduced fan stories about the "first snow" sent in advance and played requested songs, communicating more closely. Sincere empathy and her fresh voice combined to transform the venue into a small radio studio just for fans, maximizing the charm of a small theater show.
In addition, she premiered performance stages of "Back in town" and "Kiss a kitty" at this concert, earning enthusiastic response from fans. It was a moment that fully conveyed the careful preparation and effort Chuu put into this concert. She also filled the venue with intense energy with the third album title track "Strawberry Rush" and the project solo song "Heart Attack," which announced Chuu's debut.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the surprise reveal of a new song. Near the end of the show, Chuu premiered "first snow falls, meet me there," the new song slated for inclusion on her first full-length album due next year and the same title as the concert. Over dynamic sounds complemented by Chuu's clear voice, the venue was beautifully colored like a winter night when the first snow falls.
At the end of the show, Chuu expressed deep affection for fans, saying, "Every time the first snow falls, I want to meet you again." She added, "No matter where I am or what I look like, just thinking that Kkotti is by my side gives me great courage. I am always grateful to be able to sing and dance in a space filled only with Kkotti." She also said, "Even in moments when I feel small, Kkotti is the reason I take the next step," and added, "I want to return the love I received as a greater energy. Thank you for being with me today, and I hope you spend the coming Christmas with the feeling that you are with me." She then sang the ending song Je t'aime and shared a regrettable farewell with fans.
Chuu is set to release her first solo full-length album, "XO, My Cyberlove," on Jan. 7.
