Brandnew Music Co. will release a year-end single that contains a tribute to As One's late Lee Min.
At 6 p.m. on the 15th, Brandnew Music Co. will release the label project single BRANDNEW YEAR 2025 "RE:BRANDNEWAL" (Brandnew Year 2025 Re:Brandnewal), a year-end release featuring artists from the label.
BRANDNEW YEAR, Brandnew Music Co.'s signature project released every year at the end of the year, conveys the message "to make Brandnew Music's newness new again" this year with the title "RE:BRANDNEWAL," combining the meanings of "RE:" (again, reply), "BRANDNEW" and "Renewal" to express the label's intention to redefine its identity and original resolve.
This single especially began from a meaningful intention to remember As One's late Lee Min. Timed to his birthday on Dec. 15, it presents a reinterpretation of As One's 2006 release "十二夜 (Sibiiya)" in Brandnew Music Co.'s own sensibility. Brandnew Music Co. said the project aims to show both a memorial sentiment toward the late artist and the label's unchanging essence and new direction moving forward.
For vocals, As One member Krystal participates for the first time since debut as a solo vocalist rather than as part of the group, maintaining the original song's warm and delicate sensibility while label-representing artists Hanhae, Verbal Jint, KiiB, Bumkey, Vincent Blue, and Lee Daehwi (AB6IX) each add their own character to complete a deeper R&B/soul sound.
Meanwhile, Brandnew Music Co.'s year-end label project single BRANDNEW YEAR 2025 "RE:BRANDNEWAL" (Brandnew Year 2025 Re:Brandnewal) will be released on various online music sites today (the 15th) at 6 p.m.
