Singer MC Mong publicly posted a message of support for comedians Park Na-rae and Cho Sae-ho, who have been embroiled in a private life controversy, then deleted it.

He went on to compare, "If celebrities who are leaving shows have done something wrong, don't hide — announce your position honestly and if you deserve to be punished, take it openly. What right do public officials have to try to take away someone's job when they could just be scolded and go to work the next day?" In particular, MC Mong mentioned Lee Hyori and Yang Se-chan, saying, "How could it be that Lee Hyori and Yang Se-chan were only privately making joking remarks to Park Na-rae? Why can't they speak up and why are they walking on eggshells?" which drew attention.
MC Mong also advised Park Na-rae, "Sincerely reach a settlement with your managers. In response, Park Na-rae has countersued the former managers on charges of extortion.
In Cho Sae-ho's case, a netizen alleged he was close friends with Choi, an influential figure in the Geochang area's largest organized group, who was said to run illegal online gambling sites and engage in illegal money laundering, and claimed Cho received expensive gifts as compensation and even promoted franchises, sparking 'organized crime involvement' allegations.
