On the 14th broadcast of MBC variety show 'Extreme 84,' Kian84 was shown taking special running lessons with new crew members to prepare to participate in France's 'Médoc Marathon.'
Tsuki, who joined as a new crew member that day, said, "My father kept running marathons, so I also run as a hobby. I run at the Han River every day."
He added that he had never run a full marathon and said, "If there is a crew, I also want to challenge a bit. I really get the urge to do it. If I really can't run it, I think I'll feel a bit defeated. I like feeling my limits, so my personality is a bit tough. I'll run even if my legs break. I think it will be fun," showing his determination.
Kian84 was curious about Tsuki's record. Tsuki revealed that she ran almost 120 km in July, saying she ran every day and "the longest I have run is 15 km."
When Kwon Hwa-woon worried that a full marathon would be difficult to run, Tsuki emphasized, "It's possible. I have a goal. I have a very strong mindset; I'm not a weak heart. I crossed the sea and debuted in Korea."
Beginner runner Lee Eun-ji also said, "I run every day of the week. Some days I run 3 km, some days 5 km. The most I've run is 7 km."
Meanwhile, the second marathon the Extreme crew will run was the Médoc (wine) Marathon in France. A distinctive feature is that participants must run in cosplay outfits matching the theme, and all watering stations offer wine and various side dishes, so they must resist temptation to complete the race.
Tsuki said, "I have a confession. My father participated in the Médoc Marathon. My father finished in the 3 hour 7 minute range," revealing her father's appearance from 14 years ago and attracting attention.
Afterward, Kian84, as crew leader, gave special running lessons for Lee Eun-ji and Tsuki. In particular, Tsuki ran calmly side by side with Kian84. Surprised, Kian84 proposed intervals, saying, "Wow, she runs well. She ran 5 km."
During interval running, when Tsuki ran 1 km in 3 minutes 55 seconds, he said, "That's too fast?" and instead showed a competitive side. After four sets of intervals, seeing Tsuki struggle, Kian84 confessed, "Tsuki started to slump. I said, 'It's okay. Run slowly,' but my mouth tilted up. Did I say worrying words? I won with my inner thoughts."
Then Kian84 added, "Somewhere trying to run better than me. I think I'm somewhat lacking."
Furthermore, in the final sprint, a situation occurred where Tsuki caught up with Kian84. Flustered, Kian84 said, "Let's run 100 m more," using his authority, and the narrowly defeated Tsuki showed her competitive spirit, saying, "I'm so disappointed. This never happened before. I'm embarrassed. I really run well. I'll show a better performance next time."
In an interview, Kian84 said, "I'm used to running only with people who run better than me, so running with friends who haven't run as much gives me a strange sense of responsibility," while smiling with victory, "What if Ms. Tsuki runs better than me? Then what would I be? It's friendly rivalry, but since she's our crew member, I feel I should run better than this friend. I won."
