Singer Bobby Kim brought up the in-flight disturbance from 10 years ago and apologized again. In 2015, Bobby Kim was sent to trial on charges of violating the Aviation Security Act and indecent assault, and was sentenced to a 4 million won fine and 40 hours in a sexual violence treatment program.
On the 15th, according to the entertainment industry, Bobby Kim appeared in a talk show video released that day on the YouTube channel "Psick University" and said, "To sum it up, a flight attendant did not move me to business class," adding, "I bought a business class ticket, but they seated me in economy."
He went on, "I was upset and started drinking wine, then drank too much, and at some point I lost my memory," and said, "I think I caused a disturbance on the plane and showed an aggressive attitude, and it was on the news the next day."
Earlier, in Jan. 2015, Bobby Kim faced allegations that he had a conflict with a flight attendant and caused a disturbance on a domestic airline flight bound for San Francisco, U.S., for a personal schedule. At the time, Bobby Kim was known to have received someone else's boarding pass due to a mistake by the airline counter staff.
The MCs reacted that day by saying, "It was the airline's mistake," "It wasn't Bobby Kim's fault," and "It's too unfair. I would have been angry too," and Bobby Kim said, "It is true that I caused a disturbance," adding, "I want to apologize. I hope that never happens again."
