Actor Byun Yo-han and Girls' Generation member Tiffany Young are reportedly set to marry next year, and a passionate kissing scene from a project the two appeared in together is drawing attention again.
On the 13th, reports emerged that Byun Yo-han and Tiffany Young plan to hold a wedding next fall. In response, Byun Yo-han's agency Team Hope told OSEN "the two actors are dating seriously with marriage in mind," adding "there is no specific schedule yet, but we intend to inform fans first as soon as plans are decided."
The two met on the Disney+ series "Uncle SamSik," which was released in May last year. In the work they played lovers, delivering intense emotional scenes and a kissing scene, and reportedly developed into a real-life couple as a result.
In an interview at the time, Tiffany recalled, "Our partnership fit well. I didn't have much experience, but that first kissing scene was so intense and hot," adding, "(Byun Yo-han) had a beard, so we shot it almost like an action scene. The more we filmed, the more my lips swelled and my face flushed red. It was really a 'kiss scene shot like an action scene,'" which drew laughter.
Shortly after the wedding news broke, Tiffany personally conveyed her feelings to fans in a handwritten note on social media. She said, "I am continuing a serious relationship with one person with marriage in mind in a good spirit," and expressed affection for Byun Yo-han as "someone who makes me view the world positively and gives me a sense of stability." She added, "If there is an important decision, I will let fans know first," and expressed gratitude.
Byun Yo-han also left a handwritten note on his fan cafe. He said, "You must have been surprised by the sudden news," and confessed his love for Tiffany, saying, "I am meeting a wonderful person with marriage in mind. When I'm with her I want to be a better person, and just seeing her smile warms my weary heart."
Fans continue to send congratulations on the couple's love story, which began with a fiery kissing scene in "Uncle SamSik" and ultimately led to a real-life marriage.
