Singer and actor Nam Gyu-ri presented a so-called "What's in my bag" segment in which she revealed every item in her bag.
Nam Gyu-ri uploaded a video titled Ep.25 Nam Gyu-ri's What's in my bag | actress pouch cleanout! What keeps coming out...! on her YouTube channel "Gyulmeong" on the 14th.
In the video, Nam Gyu-ri introduced a 25,000 won eco bag as her favorite bag. The bag was a gift from a staff member when the omnibus horror thriller "Children's ghost stories" was invited to and attended the Canneseries festival last April, and she showed special affection for the bag, saying, "I always carry it with me with the mindset that I will definitely come back to win an award next time."
The strap tied to the bag was also an item imbued with special meaning. It was a ribbon tied to a bouquet given by an acquaintance living locally during the film festival, and Nam Gyu-ri explained, "It was the first film festival I ever attended in my life, so I always tie it on to avoid losing the feelings from that time."
Inside the bag were various items such as a wallet, sunglasses, two pouches, scripts, lyric sheets, and writing utensils.
Among them, the red lipstick was purchased by Nam Gyu-ri herself at a department store to match the character setting when she appeared in the "Joyful My Home" installment of "Children's ghost stories." She said, "It's too expensive to throw away and too intense to wear every day, but because it was used well in the work, it has meaning, so I carry it with me."
Nam Gyu-ri also revealed that she distinguishes between scripts she uses for studying and scripts she takes to the set, introducing her own method honed through a long acting career.
Nam Gyu-ri explained the reason she prepares in many ways but brings a clean script with nothing written on it to the set, saying, "I used to bring a script with my notes, but then I couldn't move away from what I had practiced. Sets are always unpredictable, and you may face unexpected acting from the other actor." She added, "I mix in what I have studied appropriately, and new things can come out," and, "It may look like a lack of effort on the surface, but in fact it is not."
Meanwhile, Nam Gyu-ri, who showed diverse charms this year through new song releases, YouTube content and various broadcasting activities, is set to meet viewers in the first half of 2026 through the drama "Human Market" to be released on KakaoPage.
