'Sadanggwi' Lee Soon-sil told WJSN's Dayoung, "The flower rag is suited over there."
On the afternoon of the 14th, the KBS2 entertainment show 'The CEO's Ears Are Donkey Ears' (hereafter Sadanggwi) aired episodes featuring announcer Eom Ji-in and North Korean defector–turned CEO Lee Soon-sil. WJSN's Dayoung appeared as a special MC.
Recently, Dayoung, who debuted solo after leaving girl group WJSN and lost 12kg, appeared with a gaunt, bony figure that caught attention.
Lee Soon-sil met Jeong Dae-hee, an elder of the Sanju Onggi Pottery masters, an intangible cultural heritage holder across eight generations, to buy good onggi for fermenting vegetables. While moving pieces of wood for the onggi, a cart toppled, and Kim Sook said, "Didn't you lose too much weight while dieting? You used to carry that much before," adding, "You have to do it with revolutionary spirit." Lee Soon-sil lamented, "I used to drive a tank."
Park Myung-soo mentioned flower rags (North Korean children who wander looking for food without a fixed residence) and scolded, "You must keep the spirit from the flower rag days," and Lee Soon-sil said, "The flower rag remark should be for Dayoung; it shouldn't be directed at me."
Dayoung, who had thought 'flower rag' was a good term, laughed, "We are flower rags," and Kim Sook said, "It doesn't mean that. Flower rag means a beggar," which drew laughter. Lee Soon-sil said, "It refers to someone who wears clothes that don't even cover the navel," and Dayoung, embarrassed, asked, "Ah, flower rag means beggar?" Jun Hyun-moo explained, "He called Dayoung a flower rag because she is so thin. She can't eat enough," and Dayoung revealed a not-easy adaptation to 'Sadanggwi,' saying, "Ah, so that's why flower rag, it's tough."
