Meanwhile, with Key also absent from the opening, attention turned to whether he would appear in the future.
However, on that broadcast Key's daily-life episode aired normally. Key's daily life shown in the same episode continued in the same 'I Live Alone' tone regardless of the controversy. Key revealed his attempt to help his close friend dancer Kani's Korean mother-in-law make 70 heads of kimchi for kimjang.
Key said when visiting his mother-in-law's house, 'She made kimchi and dumplings and that's how we became close. She sends a lot of side dishes,' and explained their friendly relationship, saying, 'I always only met her briefly.' When Key returned the side-dish containers, the mother-in-law brought out carefully prepared side dishes such as gochujang pickles, bellflower root salad and go-deul-ppaegi, and Key was moved, saying, 'Is it okay for me to take this?' He then added to the warm atmosphere by giving a massager as a gift.
As a result, this broadcast showed a selective editing approach with Park Na-rae fully edited out from the opening, while Key was absent from the opening but his episode was released normally.
