Group NCT leader Taeyong returns to fans today (14th).
On the morning of the 14th Taeyong is discharged after completing active duty in the navy.
Taeyong, who enlisted in April last year, has continued to serve as a cultural promotion soldier in the traditional music honor guard promotion unit.
Before enlisting Taeyong told fans "There are many things I still want to achieve with the members and fans, so I will work hard during my military service and learn many things. I promise that when I return I will be a better me and stand on stage".
NCT 127, which Taeyong belongs to, has seen enlistments and discharges overlap around the same time. Earlier on the 8th member Doyoung enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the army and Jungwoo enlisted in the army as a military service member, and today Taeyong is discharged. Member Jaehyun is scheduled to be discharged on May 3 next year.
Meanwhile attention is on Taeyong's appearance after his return. Taeyong, who debuted as an NCT member in April 2016, has been active with NCT 127, NCT U, SuperM and others. In 2023 he also released a solo album showcasing diverse musical abilities.<
