In Netflix (NETFLIX) Getaway and Go with Jangdobari, actor Lee Jun-young reveals the behind-the-scenes story of this year's biggest hit, When Life Gives You Tangerines.
Getaway and Go with Jangdobari (directed by Ryu Soo-bin, produced by TEO) is a travel variety show in which Jang Doyoun packs up a bundle of stories with a friend and takes off on a trip. Season 3, episode 5, which will be released at 5 p.m. on the 13th, unfolds the colorful stories of Jang Doyoun and Lee Jun-young as they head to Tokyo, Japan.
The two, brought together as a pairing of introverts, quickly grow close even in a short time, and draw attention by revealing the surprising coincidence of having mothers with the same name. From a monjayaki mukbang, a Tokyo specialty, to taking sticker photos, they will share an unmissable special journey, and especially at a famous monjayaki restaurant a surprise event that has Jang Doyoun rolling with laughter adds to the curiosity.
Introvert Lee Jun-young's candid stories also draw attention. Lee Jun-young recounts how he became close friends with Park Ji-hoon after meeting on Weak Hero Class 2 and said, "That friend is also shy but really likes me, and we share hobbies and even once went into a (dance) battle together," and he will reveal an unexpected contact name saved in his phone. Jang Doyoun, an introvert who loves to dance and shows a completely different side when acting, told him, "He seems to be the pinnacle of unpredictability."
In addition, Lee Jun-young will reveal behind-the-scenes stories of this year's biggest hit, When Life Gives You Tangerines, adding interest. Playing Yeong-beom, the boyfriend of Geum-myeong (IU), who rose to global stardom, he said, "Both of my parents cried a lot while watching the work," and mentioned the matchmaking scene, one of the memorable moments.
