DAY6 will release the Christmas special single 'Lovin' the Christmas' on Dec. 15. JYP Entertainment previously opened teasers for Sungjin, Young K, and Wonpil's advent calendars in order on the group's official Instagram, and on the afternoon of the 12th presented abundant content including the maknae Dowoon's calendar cover, concept images, handwritten notes, and a voice message.
In the photos, Dowoon offered a gift with a shy smile, delivering a romantic sensibility. He also sent his feelings to fans in a voice message saying, My Day (fandom name: My Day), are you eating lots of delicious food and spending a warm year-end? This year, too, it felt more meaningful because we were with My Day. You worked so hard in 2025, and the gift we prepared, 'Lovin' the Christmas,' is scheduled to arrive on Dec. 15, so I hope you spend a happy year-end with DAY6.
Moreover, a portion of the new song's lyrics revealed in Dowoon's handwriting, "the day you fall into magic Lovin' the Christmas," raised expectations for the 2025 season song that 'trusted and listened-to DAY6' will sing.
DAY6 will hold three performances of their solo concert '2025 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present'' at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul from the 19th to the 21st following the release of the new digital single. The concert, which sold out all shows and all seats, offers a rich sense of space with a 360-degree stage setup. On the final performance day, the 21st, they will meet more My Day (fandom name: My Day) through a paid online live stream on the Beyond LIVE platform alongside the offline performance.
Meanwhile, DAY6's new digital single 'Lovin' the Christmas' will be available to listen to on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 15th (Mon).
