'Mr. Housekeeping 2' Lee Min-woo's wife Lee Ah-mi experienced difficulties during the delivery of their second child.
On the 13th episode of the KBS2TV variety show 'Mr. Housekeeping 2', Lee Ah-mi, who became pregnant in April, finally went to give birth. Her due date was Dec. 4, but labor did not start. Lee Min-woo helped her exercise by taking walks along the beach in Eulwang-ri with her to assist with the delivery.
At 1 a.m. on Dec. 7, Lee Ah-mi felt labor pains. However, by the next morning she still had not given birth. The medical staff said, "We are going to try using an oxytocin drip," and Lee Ah-mi complained, "My lower abdomen hurts the most, and my hip joints hurt so much."
After 14 hours she had no choice but to keep waiting. Because their first daughter Mijang was delivered vaginally, Lee Ah-mi wanted a vaginal delivery for the second child as well. The medical staff said, "The baby still hasn't descended. The uterine membrane needs to thin a bit, but it is thick. So we'll give an injection and then start."
Lee Min-woo said, "They keep using the oxytocin drip and waiting, but the baby doesn't seem to want to come down. My wife is having a really hard time," and he stayed by her side the entire time, helping her, giving massages and whispering kind words.
