Baseball player Kim Ha-seong shared an update that he is recovering after shoulder surgery.
The Dec. 12 broadcast of MBC I Live Alone (hereinafter I Live Alone) featured baseball player Kim Ha-seong.
That day Kim Ha-seong arrived in a luxurious car, and when everyone was surprised he honestly said it was an expensive amount even compared with his salary, drawing laughter.
Kim Ha-seong visited a training center to manage his body during the off-season. Kim Ha-seong said, "I feel lacking in some areas. During the off-season I work out harder."
Kim Ha-seong explained his physical condition as he prepared to reinforce his shoulder. He said, "Last year while sliding in San Diego my shoulder popped out. I had to have surgery. I felt terrible. At the time I thought I was fine. I did a lot of rehabilitation but in the end I chose surgery."
He added, "Shoulder surgery is the biggest surgery for a baseball player. I had a lot of anxiety. My condition is good now. Rather than calling it rehabilitation, I am training for next season."
Kim Ha-seong said, "Until I was 30 I only played baseball. In the U.S. I really do only baseball for 10 months. Each day is a battle. I'm busy surviving. Coming to Korea for three months and having personal time is important. This is a period to prepare so I can perform well next season."
Regarding his future plans, Kim Ha-seong said, "I think I'll go to the U.S. around mid-Jan. I will manage myself well and prepare hard so I can show good baseball next year."<
