Actor Lee Dong-hwi and Bang Hyo-rin announce the start of the 2025 KBS2 one-act project "Love : Track".
"Onion soup after work" (written by Lee Seon-hwa, directed by Lee Young-seo), which is scheduled to air at 10:50 p.m. on the 14th (Sun), is a work about a man trying to find out why the onion soup, which was his only comfort in a weary life, was removed from the menu and the push-and-pull story between him and the chef.
Lee Dong-hwi plays Park Moo-an, a pharmaceutical company salesman, and Bang Hyo-rin plays Han Da-jeong, a chef who makes warm onion soup, portraying a special bond that unfolds over onion soup.
Released stills show Park Moo-an (Lee Dong-hwi), an office worker who drags himself through each day without goals or ambition. His expressionless face alone instantly conveys how hard his daily life is. For such Moo-an, the only joy is the onion soup made by Han Da-jeong (Bang Hyo-rin) that he eats after work.
But one day, when the onion soup disappears from the regular restaurant's menu, even the small pleasure in life begins to wobble. He musters the courage to ask why but cannot easily get an answer, and eventually goes to find Da-jeong and faces an unexpected truth.
Da-jeong, whose greatest joy is seeing customers enjoy her food, suddenly removes the onion soup from the menu. Da-jeong's refusal to reveal the reason despite Moo-an's repeated questions heightens curiosity about what story is hidden behind that decision. Whether Moo-an can persuade Da-jeong to regain the disappeared "joy of life," and the small push-and-pull between the two over the onion soup, will bring warm smiles.
