Girls' Day alum actress Hyeri (Lee Hye-ri) openly expressed her honest thoughts about EXchange / Transit Love and revealed S traits of her MBTI.
On the 12th, a video titled "Two ways to watch EXchange / Transit Love" was uploaded to Hyeri's YouTube channel.
That day Hyeri was having a meal and chatting with actress Park Kyung-hye. During the conversation, the production staff mentioned the difference between MBTI 'N' and 'S', and Park Kyung-hye said, "I precisely witnessed N and S situations while working part-time at a restaurant this time," drawing attention.
She said, "These days don't people watch EXchange / Transit Love a lot? I actually don't watch EXchange / Transit Love. When I'm scrolling Instagram, even if only the EXchange / Transit Love voice comes on someone says, 'Don't spoil it!'" Hyeri confirmed herself as a fan of EXchange / Transit Love, saying, "Actually I was going to watch EXchange / Transit Love today. But thanks to you it became boring content."
In response Park Kyung-hye apologized, "I'm really sorry," and said, "I was doing the dishes and handling things. I was wiping a cup and then friends there said the EXchange / Transit Love thing started. I actually don't know EXchange / Transit Love well, so I just thought, 'Oh, people watch it a lot these days,' but (the N person) launched into a passionate speech to a friend. 'You went on EXchange / Transit Love. Think about it. You went on EXchange / Transit Love after dating a girlfriend for five years. But that girl dates another man and behaves like that in front of you and treats you like a complete stranger. How would you feel?' Then (the S person) said, 'I wouldn't go on it,'" she recounted the eyewitness account.
She went on, "I really wanted to participate. If I had only known EXchange / Transit Love I would have joined. But I didn't know, so I was just watching. Then the N friend got angry. 'Right, I wouldn't go on it either, I know,' they said. There were six people there. 'We wouldn't go on it. But if you went on it, how would you feel in that situation? So suppose,' and the (S person) said, 'Well I won't go so I don't know,' and then the friends ended it. Gave up," she said, prompting laughter.
But hearing this Hyeri revealed S thinking, saying, "But I would go (on it)..." which angered Park Kyung-hye. Hyeri's actual MBTI is known to be ESTJ. Park Kyung-hye pressed, "Look at this. Don't you think like that? Don't you ever say, 'If it were me, I would have done that'" and Hyeri answered flatly, "I absolutely wouldn't. It's not me."
Park Kyung-hye asked, "Not you. But that person has feelings. Like 'what should I do' or 'I'm so excited,'" and Hyeri replied, "What would you see?" Then Park Kyung-hye began an over-immersed role-play, "For example, I've seen those clips. When the two are in a taxi and there's a close-up insert, right?" At that point Hyeri cut the mood sharply, saying, "Sister, there's rice on your mouth. You enjoyed it," causing uproarious laughter.
Park Kyung-hye, bewildered, said, "I'm talking about EXchange / Transit Love now.." and asked, "When they insert those shots, you don't go 'eek' or anything?" Seeing Hyeri's reaction, she added, "Why do you watch it? I'm curious about that. So when you watch that, why does dopamine arise? You don't empathize at all?" she said, astonished.
Hyeri said, "I just find it fun. How should I explain it? Rather than finding it funny because I empathize, the situation itself is interesting and surprising," and Park Kyung-hye said in surprise, "You don't empathize but how is the situation interesting? You think completely differently than I do; how does that work?" Hyeri explained, "I watch as an observer. What I feel is that the man didn't choose the woman, so I think, 'Why didn't he choose her?' It's not like 'If it were me,' it's more like 'During the day he acted like this, so why didn't he choose her?' or 'He seemed fine in the interview room, so why didn't he choose her?' or 'Did he have feelings but purposely not choose her?' I'm doing detective work," she explained.
Park Kyung-hye said, "Are you a detective?" and showed she didn't understand, asking, "Are you finding the reason to submit somewhere?" Hyeri said, "You talk about it. Make that reason the topic." Park Kyung-hye said, "Who has the mental energy to debate right now? I'm sad to death," and Hyeri replied, "You're not even watching it so why are you sad?" Park Kyung-hye confessed, "I get sad even from clips. And I hear so many conversations that honestly I know without even watching."
Meanwhile Hyeri said, "So I need to know that content from A to Z. I can't skip it," and Park Kyung-hye reacted, still unable to understand, "Are you collecting clues? So you can make an exact deduction and submit it to the EXchange / Transit Love production team?" Hyeri said, "That's why I review so hard. How did other people deduce it?" and added, "There are really many reviewers. Some reviews are like mine, and some like yours who go 'what should I do,' it splits. If the two of us reviewed it, I'd be saying 'That's why he didn't choose her,' and you'd be like 'Ahㅠㅠ,'" showing a clear difference and adding to the amusement.
Meanwhile, Hyeri dated actor Ryu Jun-yeol, whom she met through tvN Reply 1988, publicly for about eight years from 2017 before they broke up, and last year suspicions about Ryu Jun-yeol's involvement with EXchange / Transit Love arose and caused a backlash. At the time Hyeri posted a suggestive post that fueled speculation, and she said, "On Nov., there was an article that my eight-year relationship was ending. It was not a judgment made in a short period, and right after the breakup article came out we had a conversation about continuing to talk more. But after that conversation we had no contact or meetings. And four months later, after seeing a new article, the emotions I felt were accepted as Lee Hye-ri rather than the actress Lee Hye-ri," and apologized, "I'm sorry again for causing harm in a moment of emotion."
Meanwhile, recently to mark the 10th anniversary of Reply 1988's airing the Ssangmun-dong family reunited and went on an MT, but Ryu Jun-yeol only participated in some scenes due to scheduling issues, so a proper reunion with Hyeri did not take place.<
