Actor Lee Yi-kyung issued a strong warning to the person who exposed the private life rumors, but the exposer paid no attention and proceeded with additional revelations.
It has been nearly two months since rumors about Lee Yi-kyung's private life and lewd talk surfaced. On Oct. 20, a woman who identified herself as German said she received lewd messages during DM exchanges with Lee Yi-kyung through a social account, and her revelation started the rumors about Lee Yi-kyung's private life.
Afterward, the woman first apologized, saying her initial post was manipulated by AI, then reversed her position again, repeatedly deleting and retracting posts while claiming she was wronged. Lee Yi-kyung's side completed filing a complaint for defamation, spreading false information and other charges, and is awaiting the investigation results, and Lee Yi-kyung personally appeared and said, "The ending you are curious about will be that the suspect will be identified soon after an arrest warrant is issued. Even if they are in Germany, I will go to Germany in person to file the complaint. There will be no leniency for malicious commenters either."

On Jan. 26, 2024, the woman first sent a DM to Lee Yi-kyung saying, "You are my type. Would foreigners be okay?" Lee Yi-kyung replied, "You speak Korean very well. Which country are you in?" The woman sent a voice message and then, at Lee Yi-kyung's request, sent a selfie. After a photo showing her face, Lee Yi-kyung commented on an explicit photo sent afterward, saying, "You covered it with flowers."
Their conversation continued after that. While talking about German culture, Lee Yi-kyung said, "It's amazing that this conversation has gone this far just by looking at your breasts," and when the woman said, "Please forget about the breasts if possible," he asked, "Are you embarrassed about your breasts?" then asked, "What is your size?" He guessed her breast size was a D cup, and upon confirming it was an E cup said, "I've never seen that in my life," expressing surprise. After confirming her breast size, Lee Yi-kyung also asked, "Do you have a KakaoTalk ID?" and said, "I'll message you on KakaoTalk."
Despite Lee Yi-kyung's warnings and responses, the private life rumors entered a new phase as the woman's additional revelations emerged. However, with revelations, reversals and further disclosures continuing, public fatigue is growing.
