'I Live Alone' (hereafter I Live Alone) opening drew viewers' attention as Park Na-rae and SHINee's Key not only disappeared but weren't even mentioned by name.
On the 12th episode of the MBC entertainment program I Live Alone, shortstop Kim Ha-seong, the first Korean to win a Major League Gold Glove, appeared as the star of the "Rainbow Live" segment. The broadcast began immediately with an introduction of Kim Ha-seong without any extra preface, and in the studio were Jun Hyun-moo, Kian84, Code Kunst, Im Woo-il and Go Kang-yong.
Park Na-rae and Key, who were usually mentioned in the opening, were not seen, and no separate explanation was given for their absence. Jun Hyun-moo led the studio proceedings, and Kim Ha-seong said, "They are people I only saw on TV, so it's amazing to see them in person."
This episode drew extra attention as Park Na-rae's first appearance since she announced a halt to all broadcast activities and her departure from I Live Alone. Park Na-rae recently became the center of controversy amid allegations of power abuse by a former manager and allegations of involvement in illegal medical practices related to the so-called "injection aunt," and she has decided to leave MBC's Find Me a Home (Home Scouts), I Live Alone and tvN's Amazing Saturday.
With Park Na-rae and Key gone, Im Woo-il and Go Kang-yong filled the studio, and the changed lineup of I Live Alone is expected to continue for the time being, drawing attention to the production team's future editing direction and member composition.
