Newcomer Heo Jun-seo makes his first bid for the small screen with the Genie TV original drama "Idol Eye."
The Genie TV original drama "Idol Eye," directed by Lee Kwang-young, written by Kim Da-rin, planned by KT Studio Genie, and produced by ASTORY, set to premiere Monday the 22nd at 10 p.m., is a mystery courtroom romance in which fan-obsessed star lawyer Maeng Se-na (played by Choi Soo-young) takes on the case of her "ultimate" idol Doraik (played by Kim Jae-young), who has been framed as a murder suspect.
In the drama, Heo Jun-seo plays the childhood of Doraik, portrayed by Kim Jae-young, marking his debut. Doraik is the lead singer of the peak-popularity band "Gold Boys" who falls into suspicion as a murder suspect in an instant and is swept into turmoil; Heo Jun-seo is expected to add depth to the character's narrative by delicately portraying Doraik's past.
