Comedian Kim Young-chul expressed displeasure at an unexpected fake news item.
On the afternoon of the 11th, Kim Young-chul posted a protest message on his social media along with a photo capturing a blog post.
The photo Kim Young-chul posted contained a blog post titled "Kim Young-chul brain cranial nerve palsy… what happened," written by a blogger. The blog included images of Kim Young-chul wearing a patient gown while hospitalized. The article was written on the afternoon of the 8th and was a post by a blogger who covers entertainment and broadcasting issues.
In response, Kim Young-chul wrote, "Who wrote this? Either check and write accurately.. please take this down. The content inside is written in an extreme way. I had a temporary paralysis of the intestines called 'paralytic ileus.' How can you say brain cranial nerve palsy," pointing out the incorrect information.
He added, "And that was something that happened in the summer, and now it's December.. huuh.. please take it down quickly and delete it, please."
Kim Young-chul publicly expressed his displeasure, criticizing the blogger who wrote a sensational piece based on incorrect information. He also mentioned that the blogger was revisiting an incident from several months ago and requested that the post be deleted.
Earlier, in July, Kim Young-chul was taken to the emergency room for paralytic ileus. At the time, Kim Young-chul personally revealed his hospitalization, saying, "It was really painful, and I was lucky I went straight to the emergency room even though it was early morning. The nurses and doctors said there are quite a few emergency patients who come in with this illness."
