Melon's "MY RECORD" service, which allows you to systematically review your music listening history at the end of each year, has returned this year with a more intuitive look.
Kakao Entertainment's music platform Melon (Melon) said it has opened the year-end music big data review service "2025 MY RECORD," where individual users can enjoyably review their music listening history of the year through various infographics and events.
This "2025 MY RECORD" can be found in the Melon app's "Music DNA" under the "annual log" section. This year, unlike previous years, it supports viewing the entire flow of my music records for the year at a glance in a story card format.
The items provided in card form are △most played song of the year (2025 MY SONG) △most played artist of the year (2025 MY ARTIST) △"my activity badge" collection △seasonal most-listened playlists △playlists summarizing previous records, among others.
Through this, you can check and immediately listen to the artist and songs I loved most this year, as well as seasonal playlists. Also, in "my activity badge," you can enjoyably check your tastes through various witty badges earned from Melon listening history and actions, such as "Top Baekgwi holder," "POP perfect listener," "Japan sensibility maniac," and "healing music enthusiast."
Melon is also running an SNS sharing event to celebrate the opening of "2025 MY RECORD" until the 31st of this month. Any member with a Melon subscription can capture their year's music data in card form and upload it to Instagram feed with the designated hashtag and leave a comment of completion on the event post, or on X (formerly Twitter) they can participate by tagging Melon's account when uploading the post.
Event participants will be offered generous prizes by lottery, including Shinsegae gift certificates worth 500,000 won (2 people) and AirPods Max (1 person).
Meanwhile, Melon operates the music archiving service "Music DNA," which provides my listening history as infographics, on an ongoing basis. It is available through the "Music DNA" menu in the Melon app's More tab, and you can conveniently check your music tastes and activity at any time through "my DNA," "my activity badge," "my listening chart," "recent logs," and "monthly logs."
