The actresses' power struggle on "What to do if left" was revealed for the first time.
On the 10th episode of the tvN STORY variety show "What to do if left," Lee Yu-ri invited Park Ha-na as a taster.
That day, Lee Yu-ri, who invited Park Ha-na as a taster, said, "I couldn't attend Hana's wedding because of my schedule. She kept asking, 'You're coming, right?' but I couldn't bring myself to say it easily," expressing her regret.
At Park Ha-na's appearance, Kim Sook asked, "Since when have the two been close?" It turned out that the two met in the 2016 drama "Promise of Heaven" and have maintained their relationship since then.
Park Ha-na explained, "We did the drama 'Promise of Heaven.' I appeared as the villain and took my sister's man, and my sister took revenge on me and that man, and I tormented my sister to protect that man."
Park Se-ri asked, "How did you become close despite being sworn enemies?" and Lee Yu-ri revealed, "Why do people say actresses have power struggles when they meet? But Hana really had a power struggle with me. You could see them fighting for dominance."
A surprised Kim Sook said excitedly, "I'm hearing this for the first time. Actresses having power struggles," and a flustered Park Ha-na confessed, "You were the first to win the Grand Prize over Yeon Min-jung the next year. The opportunity came. I thought, 'I'll catch Lee Yu-ri.' It sounds absurd now, but I was a rookie then and thought if I beat you maybe I'd do better."
Lee Yu-ri then said, "And on screen I wanted to overwhelm and dominate more than her. I knew, 'Is she trying to push me down?' I tried to appear a bit bigger to overpower her. We had a power struggle. Through our roles."
Park Ha-na also said she rolled down the stairs prettily even when filming a scene where she tumbles to look more beautiful on camera. To demonstrate, Park Ha-na lay on the floor and showed it herself, and Lee Yu-ri praised her, saying, "Did you roll as soon as you arrived? It's not a set, but Hana really throws her body. She's more easygoing than I expected."
Lee Young-ja asked, "But why did you miss the wedding?" Lee Yu-ri replied, "I had a regular program at the time. The schedule on the day made it difficult; I tried to adjust but it didn't work out. I'm very sorry."
Park Ha-na said in understanding, "But a wedding is really chaotic. You have to watch the video to know who came." In response, Kim Sook quipped, "We haven't gotten married so we don't know. Why is it so chaotic?" drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, Park Ha-na married former professional basketball coach Kim Tae-sul in June. The two appeared on the SBS variety show "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny" and shared their daily life, saying they are planning to have children.
