Jin Tae-hyun also said, "I've experienced so many hardships living to 45. I had to send away the only daughter in my womb first, and while I was getting along well with my wife, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. It was a small pain, but I love marathons and suffered an ankle injury."
He said, "It's not an inflammation and not something seriously sick, but when I try to run I get pain. I haven't been able to train for five weeks now," and added, "A few days ago I ate something wrong and got a virus and I almost died. As you get older, each of these experiences makes you realize the preciousness of the time you have left."
Then Jin Tae-hyun said, "When you go through hardship, positivity comes from God and my wife. You shouldn't regard hardship just as hardship. Then the power of positivity comes," and expressed affection, saying, "As Si-eun's husband, if I don't want to give this woman hardship, I have no choice but to get through it with positive thinking."
Meanwhile, Jin Tae-hyun married fellow actor Park Si-eun in 2015, and the two received great public support for their steady volunteer work and for adopting their eldest daughter, Davida. In particular, in 2022 they announced a pregnancy and received great congratulations, but suffered a miscarriage 20 days before the birth, causing sadness. After that, the couple adopted two daughters who are marathoners and have provided financial and emotional support.
