SHINee Onew drew a line regarding the recent 'injection aunt' controversy that began with Park Narae.
On the 11th, Onew's agency, Griffin Entertainment, said in an official statement that it was making an official position to clarify the facts about the connection between A, the 'injection aunt' recently raised by Park Narae, and its artist Onew.
Onew's agency explained that Onew first visited a clinic in Sinsa-dong where A works in April 2022 at the recommendation of an acquaintance, and considering the clinic's size at the time, it was difficult to recognize the medical license controversy currently being raised online.
The agency added that Onew's visit to the clinic was for skin care, and the signed CD was merely an expression of gratitude for the treatment.
The agency expressed deep regret that stories inconsistent with the facts about its artist are being indiscriminately amplified and reproduced, and added that it hopes no further speculation arises and that it will continue to do its best to protect the artist's honor and rights.
Earlier, online communities and social media recently mentioned entertainment industry stars who were said to be acquainted with A, Park Narae's 'injection aunt,' which spread the fallout. It was also reported that one of A's social media posts included a signed CD bearing Onew's handwritten message.

However, as it became known that the injection aunt did not have a medical license, that post also drew attention. Onew's side said he first met A at the clinic and visited the clinic for skin care, drawing a line regarding the controversy.
