On the 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV entertainment show 'Baedalwasseuda', Im Woo-il, Kim Won-hoon and Eom Ji-yoon appeared and were shown dissing each other.
That day Im Woo-il said about Kim Won-hoon and Eom Ji-yoon during their rookie days, "I didn't see either of them at all. Because I didn't know if they were especially good at anything and they had no character. In Won-hoon's case his voice is somewhat muffled. He mumbles. At that time during the 'Gag Concert' era they performed stage comedy so the mumbling couldn't be heard," delivering a blunt critique.
However, rising star Kim Won-hoon countered that these days people praise his good vocalization and diction.
Also Im Woo-il said about Eom Ji-yoon, "In Ji-yoon's case I didn't know what she did. She had no presence. I later found out she was this good," he said.
Then Kim Won-hoon dissed Im Woo-il, saying, "Among the 26th class seniors I thought only Woo-il senior wouldn't make it. Sang-hoon Lee, Seo Tae-hoon, there are really many people who are good there, but Woo-il senior at that time was extremely ambitious. He had a strong character so I thought, 'a bit over the top? That person is a bit much.'"
In particular it drew attention that Kim Won-hoon was said to dislike broadcasting with Im Woo-il. He revealed, "After Woo-il senior did 'Hangout With Yoo' a few times with Yu Jae-seok, he said, 'Won-hoon, that's not how you do a broadcast,'" he exposed.
Im Woo-il was flustered, and Kim Won-hoon said, "I also thought Woo-il senior was the same novice, but after he tried matching chemistry with Jae-seok senior a few times he hosted a lot saying, 'You should do it in a terrestrial style. Do that kind of thing on YouTube,' and it was a lot. Honestly it's a bit gross," he asserted.
He then added, "Having seen him during the hard times of his rookie days I didn't think Woo-il senior was that kind of person," which drew laughter.
