Comedienne Park Na-rae's so-called "injection aunt" A has ultimately deleted her SNS account, and former entertainment reporter turned YouTuber Lee Jin-ho is drawing attention by likening A to the "Jeon Cheong-jo."
A, known as Park Na-rae's "injection aunt," ultimately deleted her SNS account. After reports related to Park Na-rae caused a stir, she deleted posts and changed them to private, and it was determined that she has now deleted all accounts.
A previously posted on her SNS a photo of herself wearing a doctor's gown, what appeared to be an online profile written in Chinese, and several posts claiming she was a medical professional.
She also claimed, "About 12 to 13 years ago I served as the first professor for foreigners and nationals at Inner Mongolia Pugang Medical University Hospital. With the help of the hospital director, I attracted the Korean plastic surgery center and served as its director." She also expressed grievance, saying, "I gave up everything because of COVID-19. I had a hard time, so don't make me a gossip item."
On her SNS profile she also listed "director of the Korean plastic surgery center at Inner Mongolia Pugang Medical University Hospital (distinguished professor), CEO of S&AH Medi Group, operator of Rioracell hospital-exclusive cosmetics," emphasizing her status as a plastic surgery-related medical professional. But when the "Association of Physicians Who Want a Fair Society (APWFS)" issued a statement saying "the Inner Mongolia Pugang Medical University mentioned by A is a non-existent ghost medical school," the controversy grew and she deleted all posts.
Later, the Korean Medical Association Organization said in an official press release that A's medical conduct was "illegal unlicensed medical practice." After checking internal databases at the Korean Medical Association Organization level, it was learned that A is not a holder of a domestic medical license.
The Korean Medical Association Organization said, "This act is a clear illegal unlicensed medical practice in violation of Article 27 of the Medical Service Act," and added, "Medical practice in Korea can only be performed by those who have obtained a license from the Minister of health and welfare. Under the Medical Service Act, nonmedical persons without a medical license may not perform medical acts in Korea under any circumstances. The acts in this case are illegal procedures different from lawful medical treatment performed by medical professionals, and their essence must not be obscured by calling them home visits."
As the controversy continued and interest in Park Na-rae's injection aunt did not abate, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho addressed the case on his personal channel on the 10th, saying, "(The injection aunt) will be handled with the mindset of dealing with a second Jeon Cheong-jo. She is an extremely intriguing figure and to the point where I thought she might be similar to Jeon Cheong-jo, to the extent that I wondered, 'Is it right?' She was that level of person, and the more I dug, the more layers appeared like an onion. I even thought that entertainers connected to this might actually be victims."
