Wenne Alton Davis, an actor who appeared in the popular Amazon Prime series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," died in an accident. He was 60.
People reported on the 10th (local time) that Davis was struck by a vehicle just before 9 p.m. on the 8th while crossing a street in midtown Manhattan, New York, U.S. According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), the crash occurred when a 2023 black Cadillac XT6 turning left at the intersection of West 53rd Street and Broadway struck Davis.
Police said Davis suffered severe head and bodily trauma and was immediately taken from the scene by emergency personnel to Mount Sinai West, but was ultimately pronounced dead. The driver did not leave the scene and was not injured, and police said the incident is under investigation.
