"I'm SOLO" contestants Young-ja and Young-sik discovered a chilling parallel theory they did not anticipate.
On the 10th episode aired on ENA·SBS Plus, "I'm SOLO" continued with stories of solo men and women appearing for an older-man-younger-woman special.
During the conversation that day, Young-sik said he attended H Foreign Language High School during his high school years. Hearing this, Young-ja said, "One of my friends is a math teacher at H Foreign Language High School," offering an unexpected link.
Young-sik mentioned that his high school attendance period was from 2013 to 2015, and Young-ja replied, "My friend happened to go there at that time," adding to the surprise. As they expressed mutual astonishment and Young-ja said the name of the teacher who is her friend, Young-sik looked as if he had stopped breathing and was shocked.
Young-sik also said, "That's amazing. I was not good at math back then, but thanks to that teacher my grades turned out okay." Young-ja repeatedly said, "That's amazing," unable to contain her surprise.
Young-ja added, "I thought they would be like my junior, but I never imagined I would meet (my friend's) student like this," confirming a fateful connection mediated by a high school teacher from an unfamiliar place.
