Singer and producer Jung Ki-go is releasing a jazz remake album after about eight years.
Jung Ki-go recently held a showcase at Mos Garden in Gangnam, Seoul, ahead of the release of the jazz remake LP Wonderland, scheduled for early 2026.
Through Wonderland, Jung Ki-go will undertake a jazz project for the first time in about eight years since the 2018 jazz album Song For Chet. Jung Ki-go's boundless jazz spectrum, marking a musical turning point, unfolded live on stage and drew strong responses from the audience.
In particular, Wonderland features nine jazz standards beloved across eras, reinterpreted in Jung Ki-go's characteristically soft, cozy vocals. Tracks such as For Sentimental Reasons, Misty, Close To You, This Masquerade, I Love You, The Look Of Love, Say You Love Me, Fly Me To The Moon and You'll Never Know are expected to showcase a different jazz charm in Jung Ki-go's deepened sensibility.
To ensure high completeness, jazz pianist Oh Eun-hye, representing the Korean jazz scene, provided arrangement and served as band master. Oh Eun-hye produced a rich sound with a configuration combining a quintet and strings, promising the best musical synergy with Jung Ki-go.
Additionally, at the showcase Jung Ki-go added a special touch by revealing a VIP-limited version of the country's first eco-friendly LP, the EcoRecord. The EcoRecord is the world's first commercially available eco-friendly LP format made from 100% recycled PET material; it reduces carbon emissions and waste compared with conventional vinyl while maintaining equivalent sound quality and durability. It was produced through a collaboration between global record manufacturer Sonopress and recycled material innovation company Plastic Ark, a technology also applied in official LP production for Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.
Jung Ki-go's jazz remake LP Wonderland will be officially released early next year.
