On that day, Hwang Bo-ra prepared packed lunches for the staff ahead of the screening of the film The People Upstairs, which her husband participated in producing. Not only that, she personally packed simple snacks for the lead actors including her husband as part of her support.

Meanwhile, Hwang Bo-ra married Cha Hyun-woo (born Kim Young-hoon), the second son of actor Kim Yong-gun and the younger brother of Ha Jung-woo, in 2022. She later succeeded in becoming pregnant through in vitro fertilization and held her son last May.
