'Baedaloreossuda' Lee Young-ja missed the late Choi Jin-sil.
On the 10th, the KBS 2TV entertainment show 'Baedaloreossuda' aired scenes of Lee Young-ja and Kim Sook reminiscing about their rookie days.
That day, Lee Young-ja, who said she joined through an MBC special recruitment, said, "They didn't make me fetch coffee. I entered not as a trainee but through special recruitment. Special recruits weren't made to do things like that. I was looked down on a bit. They said I came from the nightclub stage. I did night performances because I had to make a living while studying theater at Seoul Institute of the Arts," she confessed.
Kim Sook said, "You must have been very conscious of others too, sister. They didn't even make you run errands," surprised, and Lee Young-ja recalled, "The reason I became close with Jin-sil was that. At the time when we were rookies, Jin-sil was a top star. She came to my program as a guest. When I said, 'I'm the same age as you,' Jin-sil said, 'Okay, let's be friends,' and we became friends from then on."
The two became friends from their first meeting. Lee Young-ja said, "It was an honor when she said let's be friends," and Kim Sook said, "Sister Jin-sil seemed to be very kind to everyone."
Lee Young-ja missed the late Choi Jin-sil, saying, "She didn't judge people. She was such a great friend."
