'Baedalwa suda' Um Ji-yoon recalled the painful years of obscurity.
On the 10th broadcast of KBS 2TV entertainment show 'Baedalwa suda,' Im Woo-il, Kim Won-hoon and Um Ji-yoon appeared as delivery customers.
That day, when asked whether they had painful memories from their long periods of obscurity, Um Ji-yoon first began, "'Gag Concert' was canceled and when there was no work someone happened to offer an appearance on commerce. I said yes and went," she said.
Um Ji-yoon said, "They said they'd pay 100,000 won for one appearance. I signed a two-appearance contract. But they put me on live broadcast four times and said two times couldn't be counted because they were overseas broadcasts," she said.
She added, "After tax it was 190,000 won because they took tax from the 200,000 won. It took one or two months to receive it and I felt hurt," and on hearing this Lee Young-ja said in anger, "That's like being scammed right in front of you."
Kim Won-hoon recalled, "When I went on a date with my wife to a samgyeopsal restaurant, I really had no money then. We went to a thin-sliced pork belly place and I kept paying. For example, if I only had 30,000 won, I made an excuse like 'I'm tired of meat' — that time was hard," he recalled.
